As Deep as the Ocean

I love strikes. Getting a day off in the middle of the week is fucking awesome and we should have it more often. Instead of taking advantage of this time to study like everyone else seems to be, I decided to go to Cronulla with some pals. Time well spent, I say.

I had never been to Cronulla before. But luckily, we had Justin (resident beach bum) to show us around. Although he fit right in, I did not! John, Micheal and I were like, 3 out of the 10 Asians from the entire area! And Micheal's Australia tank top and Mina's "I (heart) the Shire" shirt did not help! Can't complain though. Hot surfers yeaaaaah!

It was also the first time I climbed rocks. It was an arduous journey. Sharp rocks, blue ringed octopus warning signs and puddles. The main problem was the moss. Although quite beautiful, they are moist and thus, slippery. The result? Landing on your ass and having a wet bum for the rest of the day. It was a good laugh I suppose, and it could have been a lot worse. It was worth it though. We ended up at this secluded little area where we just sat and relaxed. The best view ever! And i love how secluded and natural everything is.
